You receive bonus points for blocking rival players with expert placement, such as dropping the C-shaped block around the end of a line piece. (Critical hint: if you tap and hold a piece, the corners where it fits in the puzzle field glow.) Running your finger around a circle over the piece lets you flip or rotate it before you can snap it in place. You just drag your shapes into the field and then tap a green checkmark to drop them.
Sense the Tetris vibe? The Blokus field is large but completely manageable on the iPhone.
